For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved [John 3v17].
I want to share a short story that Jesse Duplantis shared at the Southwest Believers’ Convention 2013, organized by Kenneth Copeland Ministries. I love this story because it perfectly portrays God’s love.
One day the Lord said to Jesse to organize a vacation to Hawaii for all his staff (180 in number). So he did and fully paid for everything as directed by the Lord. They spent three days at Hawaii and on one of those days, the Lord said to him to give $100 to a lady staff. The Lord explained to Jesse that she needed that extra $100 to buy something at Hawaii, so Jesse just obeyed God.
After the trip, Jesse Duplantis found out that the lady was stealing from the Ministry. He went to the Lord and told Him about it and complained that He knew she was stealing from the Ministry and still ordered him to give her the extra money. The Lord said to him, “I wanted her to know that she did not have to steal from the Ministry and that I was ready to supply her needs. That’s Grace fueled by PURE Love.
We have heard stories about how condemning God is and ready to kill people for their sins but it’s not so. God wants us all to be saved. Jesus suffered for this very reason, to save a dying world. When Jesus hung on the Cross, you were the reason. He paid it all. Receive it, believe it and live it
