WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

Writer's picture: El Stephen A. AsanteEl Stephen A. Asante

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and ragging of the water. And they ceased and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”… [Luke 8v24-25] – NKJV

Matthew Barnett once said, “Faith is believing that God is going to take you places before you even get there” but is that our idea of faith? Is seeing believing or believing rather seeing? Do we have to see things before we believe them or believe them before we see them? (see Mark 11v23-24) What is your take?

The world is becoming more intellectual and therefore we are all moving into reasoning. We want to understand why things are what they are and how things work and that in a way is stealing from us one of the most potent force on earth –faith. Because faith is beyond human reasoning.

To Smith Wigglesworth, faith is more real than the things his eyes could see. Faith is not believing in fictions but believing in what is in the spirit realm which can only be drawn through faith. Faith is actually the currency needed to see results in the kingdom of God. Where is your faith?

Are you using your faith? How often? Always? You may think, do I even have faith? (see Romans 12v3). Faith is not daydreaming but spirit dreaming. I can see myself at the runway of El-Addict Consortium’s international head office. To you,

that is childish talk (you are moving into reasoning; thinking about the “hows”! but that is faith. Where is your faith? God is counting on your faith? Use your faith.
