WHAT DO YOU SEE??

After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, "Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession. [Gen 13:14-16] - NLT

We mostly do not value what we have but what we had because we lose sight of the priceless value of what we have. Recently, I was reminiscing some wonderful moments whiles in the university. I thought life after school will be fun but recently I thought about some worthless times on campus too. School was also fun.

Some of the most wonderful moments was when I attended church programs with my roommate and close pals. I remember one day while we were going for a program, the Lord inspired my heart to ask my friends about their expectations of the program. It is very important because your expectation determines what you receive.

As the year dawn, it is important to set your expectation right because it will determine what you will experience this year. The Lord said to Abram- am giving all this land as far as you can see (expectation). Bishop David Oyedepo once said what you see (expect) determines what you can receive.

So in the year 2020, what do you see?? What are you expecting?? The scripture above says God will give you as far as you can see (expect) but you need to get “your Lot” – [anything that hinders your relationship with God] your of your side and take responsibility because the Word says “as far as you*** can see”. Wisdom demands that you take responsibility but taking responsibility can sometimes be frustrating when you overlook the goodness and mercies of God. He will do it!! So what do you see??
