Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfilment of those things which were told her from the Lord. [Luke 1v45] – NKJV
It is hard for many people to believe that anyone (as long as you are a believer) can personally hear from God. It is a clear proof that they have never read the Word because the Bible was written by men who heard from God and penned them down for the use of generations unborn [see 2 Peter 1v20-21]. I am excited to announce to you that God still speaks today. Prophecies are real.
God throughout generations have used the office of the prophet to communicate His plans, ideas and instructions to the human race and still uses this *office. It is a shame that the foolish devil through his messengers has also invaded to devalue this powerful office. But there are still genuine prophets of God who only speak as commanded by the Lord and most importantly, as a New Testament believer, you can also hear God for yourself [see John 10v27].
When God speaks [either through a prophet or to you personally] it is backed by the forces of heaven to see its fulfilment but this truth may be waived by the many unfulfilled prophecies. As powerful as the Word of God is, it will not produce in the hand of anyone who will not believe it. So is prophecy. The Word says, “BLESSED IS SHE WHO BELIEVED, for there will be a fulfilment of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Your faith is required to walk into your prophecy. You cannot live in sin and see the fulfillment of your prophecy because sin sucks faith. Prophecies are real but require your faith, obedience, prayer and expectancy to see its fulfilment. Walk into your prophecy and enjoy what God has laid down for you.
