Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. [Genesis 3v21] – New King James Version.
Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is to prove to people that God loves them. Our knowledge of the love of God has been fogged by natural disasters and setbacks. Can a loving God be the cause of natural disasters and setbacks? Can He be the cause of wars, famines and the plane crashes? Maybe He is proving how weird and powerful He is in order for us to reverence Him as God. This can sometimes be the most difficult puzzle to work out.
Someone will say, “I know my lifestyle – God can’t love me. I have done many ill things and I know what’s going on is just a payback time for God’’. Even believers sometimes think so but can God, who commands us to love and pray for our enemies do otherwise? It will be hard for me to accept this if it’s true because we can ONLY love in the ability of His love He has shared in our hearts.
God is love and no matter the dirt the devil throws into our eyes, His love cannot be denied (see Romans 5v8). It is clearly seen in the scripture above – even when man sinned, God’s response
was love, not wrath. In the fallen stage of man, God throughout the ages preached Jesus as the propitiation of our sins. The love of God can only be FULLY expressed in tongues.
But Paul puts it this way, “Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. THEN you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God” (Ephesians 3:17-19 *NLT). The storms in life is not God, believe in His unconditional love for you and experience it!!
