KEEP ON DIPPING

Writer's picture: El Stephen A. AsanteEl Stephen A. Asante

So he (Naaman) went down dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child and he was clean (2 Kings 5v14).

One of the greatest things that the devil fights against the most is our consistency. The devil is mostly not scared when people start praying like they don’t have wits or start studying the Word like pastors or archbishops. What he fights at is their consistency.

What do you do if you are believing God for something and it seems it’s not coming anytime soon? Do you keep up praying? Until you see prayer as a place of fellowship with God and not a grocery store, you will never have the desire to pray always. The Word will work if you will stay with it, always!! We resume to doubt when promises or what we desire to see from our input seems stuck in coming. I have news for you; it is naturally believed that Naaman’s skin still looked leprous until his seventh dip!! So keep on dipping!!

Your seventh dip is just at the corner. Don’t quit!! It will be dreadful to quit and later find out that you were on your sixth dip. The going gets tougher when you are almost at the finishing line. How strong is your want-to? Think about it.

Proverbs 24v10 says, “If you faint in the day of adversity, then your strength is small. You can’t quit believing. Don’t quit praying about it cuz there is going to be a fresh testimony and that will be yours. God is packaging your testimony now. So keep on dipping. Hallelujah!!
