CONSISTENTLY PLUGGED

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. [Psalm 92v13] – New King James Version.

It is not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently. Apparently, if we want to see growth in our Christian walk, then we need to get hold of consistency. Being planted in God or consistently plugged in God is the caveat to a flourishing Christian life.

What God requires from us is to grow to the complete stature of Christ. We can’t be diaper made Christians. We need to grow up. The secret to growing up in God is being planted in God or consistently plugged in God. What is being consistently plugged in God? It is living a life steadily fixed on God.

Dr David Yonggi Cho lives with an unwavering mindset of the presence of God. His mind is always set that God is inside and around him. Bishop Dag once said, “Anytime I am on the plane, I always have a tape to listen or a book to read”. He is consistently plugged. You are not busier than them but they remain consistently plugged in God. Will you live a life doggedly fixed on God?

You may not have all the time to be before the bible but you can fix your mind on a scripture. You can maintain a consistent conversation with God even on your way to lecture. During your busy schedules at the office, you can have a song about Him in your heart. You will grow. Remain planted, remain consistently plugged.
